Stuffed Roti

Ingedients
  • roti                                           4 nos
  • atta(whole wheat flour)             200 gms
  • water                                     to form dough
  • salt                                          to taste
  • oil                                            2 tsp
  • for stuffing
  • paneer                                   100 gms
  • onion chopped                        50 gms
  • tomato chopped                      30 gms
  • green chillies                          4 nos
  • chaat masala                          1 tsp
  • chopped coriander                 15 gms
  • oil                                         2 tbsp
  • salt                                       to taste
  • haldi                                    a pinch
Method:
Roti
  • In a bowl put the strained atta,water,salt and oil
  • Knead till stiff and pliable .Cover with moist muslin cloth and rest the dough.
  • Knead the dough again and divide into 4 roundles
  • Flatten and roll into rotties
  • Microwave each roti for 40 seconds on each side,covering with a paper napkin,on 'high' power.
Stuffing
  • Grate paneer and mix all the ingredients except chopped coriander.
  • Cook on 'high' power for 3 minutes,stir every minutes
  • Once the stuffing is cooked,spread this mixture across half the roti,sprinkle coriander and fold over.
  • Hold the folded roti in place using a toothpick.
  • Microwave on 'high' power for 30 seconds.
  • Serve hot

Cooking time:10 mins
Tip:Good source of Protein and Vitamin A.To reduce fat use low fat-paneer.
